چکیده
Introduction: Hemoglobin A1c is frequently used to monitor glycemic control in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). There an association between dietary habits and hemoglobin A1c. Food diaries are often assist management have been associated modification of habits. We aimed investigate the impact completing a seven-day food diary on subjects T2DM. hypothesized that who completed might independently modify their habits, resulting clinically significant change Methods: Forty-five T2DM were included this observational study. Subjects had mean at baseline 7.56 ± 1.43 body mass index 33.6 7.6 kg/m². A majority female (57.8%) insulin-dependent (71.1%). The primary outcome interest was (≥0.5%). Outcomes assessed before within six months after completion. Chi-square, independent-sample t-tests, logistic regression analyze data. Results: Twelve demonstrated decrease A1c; however, not statistically regardless gender (p = 0.5), insulin use 0.3), or community needs 0.7). Conclusions: Although some improvements A1c, our findings suggest alone without goal-directed initiatives insufficient achieve differences average range 6%-8%.

BACKGROUND The authors conducted a prospective cohort study to explore the relationship between implant success and glycemic control in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. METHODS The authors used a two-phased enrollment, stratified by glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) levels, to evaluate 50 implants in 35 subjects. The authors assessed nonsubmerged, nonrestored implants after placement, during...
