Food diaries are often assist management have been associated modification of habits. We aimed investigate the impact completing a seven-day food diary on subjects T2DM. hypothesized that who completed might independently modify their habits, resulting clinically significant change Methods: Forty-five T2DM were included this observational study. Outcomes assessed before within six months after completion. Chi-square, independent-sample t-tests, logistic regression analyze data. Results: Twelve demonstrated decrease A1c; however, not statistically regardless gender (p = 0.5), insulin use 0.3), or community needs 0.7). Conclusions: Although some improvements A1c, our findings suggest alone without goal-directed initiatives insufficient achieve differences average range 6%-8%.
